Christie brings a wealth of expertise to serve her clientele. With more than 12 years of experience as a licensed broker, she specializes in land tracts, 1031 exchange property, equestrian communities and luxury estate homes. She has also been involved in the development of private communities from concept to reality. Christie has been instrumental in the vision, design and marketing of Asheville area residential developments including Ashbrook and Bridgewater.

Prior to becoming a licensed agent, Christie was involved in real estate investment including both commercial and residential projects. During that time, she completed projects in Florida, Georgia and Franklin, North Carolina. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Christie is passionate about balancing development with respect for the land. While recognizing the inevitability of progress, she is dedicated to maintaining the natural beauty of the mountains. In contributing to the design of private estates and residential communities, she has focused on park layout, equestrian and hiking trails, open space and the protection of view sheds.

Christie is a member of the two area land trusts: Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy and Southern Appalachian Highlands Land Conservancy. She also serves on the Land Conservation Advisory Board for Buncombe County. An equestrian, Christie is also involved with the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA).
