Ron Piccari serves as a partner in the firm and Broker In Charge of the Landrum, South Carolina office. His track record in the sale of horse farms, estate properties and luxury homes has earned him the honor of quickly becoming a multi-million dollar producer and one of the agency’s top producers. Ron’s clients praise him for his responsiveness, in-depth knowledge of the area and consistent follow-through.
A seasoned equestrian, Ron is a 10-year veteran on the open jumping circuit. He has won numerous awards at shows from Florida and the Carolinas to New York and Ohio. Currently, he is 
an active participant in local area equestrian activities including events hosted by FENCE and the Western Carolina Hunter Pace Series. A member of the Green Creek Hounds and the Tryon Hounds, Ron has participated in the Masters of Fox Hounds Association Centennial Joint Meet in Southern Pines as well as hunts in Florida. Following his interest in preserving the local area equestrian trail system, Ron has also served on the board of directors for the Foothills Equestrian Trail Association (FETA). Ron owns Turkey Run Farm, a 50-acre equestrian property in Tryon. Here, he works with his competition horses and cares for several rescued greyhounds.
Ron’s passion for adventure has opened up many avenues of exploration. Prior to his relocation to North Carolina, Ron owned Bottom Time Adventures, a marine travel business that specialized in expeditions from the coast of Florida to the Bahamas, Caribbean and South America. His clients enjoyed swimming with whales and dolphins from The Bottom Time II, a high tech, high strength, 90-foot Catamaran. Ron has been a licensed ocean operator of a passenger vessel and a licensed airplane pilot for more than 30 years.
